The School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) extended its expertise beyond the campus by conducting a Building Permit Consultation Outreach in Pinsao Barangay. The consultation aimed to educate homeowners and small-scale builders on the importance of securing proper permits to ensure safe, legal, and resilient construction. Residents actively participated, raising concerns and seeking guidance on their construction plans. Through this initiative, SEA reaffirmed its commitment to community development by bridging technical knowledge with real-world applications.

The School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) brought technical education to the heart of Pinsao Barangay through a Basic Welding Outreach Program. In a remarkable display of community engagement, students and faculty from the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) of University of Baguio gathered in Pinsao Proper Barangay for a hands-on basic troubleshooting outreach. The event, held under the institution’s Extension and Community Outreach Services, aimed to equip residents with fundamental skills in electrical and technical troubleshooting.

The SEAlympics 2025 at the University of Baguio brought together over 2,200 students and faculty members in a day filled with sports, traditional games, and camaraderie. Held at the Centennial Building’s 2nd Basement, the event aimed to promote teamwork and student engagement beyond academics. Participants enjoyed various activities, from Larong Pinoy games like Chinese Garter and Tic Tac Toe x Flip the Bottle to competitive basketball and volleyball matches.
With an electric atmosphere and enthusiastic participation, the event successfully strengthened the UBian spirit. Organizers are already planning improvements for the next SEAlympics, ensuring an even more exciting experience in the years to come.

The School of Engineering and Architecture hard hatting ceremony included the participation of OJT trainees accompanied by their parents. The donning of hard hats symbolizes the students’ transition from academia to the practical world of engineering, marking their readiness to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios. The hard hat represents the hands-on nature of their chosen field.

The School of Engineering and Architecture’s tribute to its 2025 graduates was not just a celebration but a reminder of the vital role that education plays in fostering future leaders who will contribute significantly to society.

The team to beat for the second half of the University of Baguio intramurals 2024.

The University of Baguio emerged victorious in several categories, showcasing the talent and dedication of its students. In the Academic competitions, with the guidance of their coach Engr. Leah A. Talusig, the university secured a 2nd runner-up finish in the Interscholastic Quiz Show, with a team consisting of Aira Aguban, Aluin Ron Vallesteros, Ezer Lantaen, JohnRev Gat-eb, Marx Facsoy, and Raquel Catanes. The university also claimed 1st runner-up in the Elite Electronics Competition, with team members Lumawig Amdengan, Joezer Rei Wajchina, and Daniel Rivera demonstrating their technical expertise.

SEA EXHIBIT 2024 is an activity that
stimulates creativity, develops critical and analytical thinking, and fosters relevant skills and ethical values in a fun-learning environment. The activity serves as a window for stress release for students as well as the faculty and staff.
