Congratulations to UB’s Newest Architects!

The University of Baguio proudly congratulates the newly licensed Architects from the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA)!

The Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA) took place on January 21-23, 2025, with a total of six (6) first-takers and three (3) repeat takers. The overall performance of the University of Baguio averaged at 77.78%, with seven out of nine (7/9) takers passing the examination. The university achieved a 83.33% passing rate for first-time takers, and its overall passing rate averaged higher than the national passing rate, which sat at 58.71%. 

UB congratulates the following new architects:

  • Ar. Halfred Catabas
  • Ar. Marzan Rapheal
  • Ar. Yvonne Nikki Atiwag
  • Ar. Kimley Atiwen

SEAlympics 2025: UB Engineering & Architecture Students Unite in Fun and Sportsmanship

The SEAlympics 2025 at the University of Baguio brought together over 2,200 students and faculty members in a day filled with sports, traditional games, and camaraderie. Held at the Centennial Building’s 2nd Basement, the event aimed to promote teamwork and student engagement beyond academics. Participants enjoyed various activities, from Larong Pinoy games like Chinese Garter and Tic Tac Toe x Flip the Bottle to competitive basketball and volleyball matches.

With an electric atmosphere and enthusiastic participation, the event successfully strengthened the UBian spirit. Organizers are already planning improvements for the next SEAlympics, ensuring an even more exciting experience in the years to come.
