In pursuit of perfection, the University of Baguio is committed to provide balanced quality education by nurturing academic excellence, relevant social skills, and ethical values in a fun-learning environment. The School of Engineering and Architecture provide this quality education through school activities. SEARCUS is an activity which could stimulate creativity, develop critical and analytical thinking, fosters relevant skills and ethical values of the students is a fun-learning environment. The Activity serves as a window for stress release for students as well as the faculty and staff.

“SEArcus”, the mesmerizing theme of the exhibit fair of the School of Engineering and Architecture was a true masterpiece of creativity, innovation, and inspiration.

This year’s SEArcus was nothing short of extraordinary! The students at the School of Engineering and Architecture transformed the campus into a world of innovation and creativity. From awe-inspiring architectural wonders to cutting-edge engineering marvels, the participants as well as the guests embraced engineering concepts and a learnings that they will remember. The students of SEA took on a captivating journey of imagination and innovation, showcasing their limitless potential. The dedication, hard work, and passion poured into each project were truly inspiring.

The University of Baguio emerged victorious in several categories, showcasing the talent and dedication of its students. In the Academic competitions, with the guidance of their coach Engr. Leah A. Talusig, the university secured a 2nd runner-up finish in the Interscholastic Quiz Show, with a team consisting of Aira Aguban, Aluin Ron Vallesteros, Ezer Lantaen, JohnRev Gat-eb, Marx Facsoy, and Raquel Catanes. The university also claimed 1st runner-up in the Elite Electronics Competition, with team members Lumawig Amdengan, Joezer Rei Wajchina, and Daniel Rivera demonstrating their technical expertise.
